Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the EduNexus school management platform at edunexuserp.in (the "Platform"), operated by V & V Associates ("EduNexus", "we", "us"). By registering a school on the Platform, or by using it as a staff member, parent, or student of a registered school, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who These Terms Cover

EduNexus is a business-to-business (B2B) service: the school is our customer. Principals, teachers, parents, students, and drivers access the Platform as users authorized by that school. Where these Terms refer to "you", it means the school (acting through its authorized administrator) and, where applicable, other users accessing the Platform under that school's account.

2. The Service

EduNexus provides school management software, including but not limited to:

• Student, staff, and attendance management
• Fee management and online fee collection
• Timetable, exam, and results management
• Transport tracking
• Notices and parent communication
• An optional AI Assistant for school data queries

3. Subscription Plans & Billing

• New schools receive a 7-day free trial with no card required.
• Subscription fees are billed in advance for the billing period selected.
• Prices are subject to change with reasonable prior notice to existing schools; changes will not apply retroactively to an already-paid billing period.
• A school may cancel its subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current paid period.

4. Fee Collection & Payment Facilitation

EduNexus enables a school to collect student fees online from parents through our payment partner, Razorpay. In relation to these payments:

• The fee payment is a transaction between the parent and the school — EduNexus facilitates the payment but is not the seller of the underlying educational service.
• A convenience/facilitation fee may apply to online fee payments made through the Platform, disclosed to the parent before the payment is completed.
• Amounts collected from parents are settled to the school's linked account via Razorpay, in accordance with Razorpay's standard settlement timelines.
• EduNexus is not responsible for a school's own fee policies, such as due dates, late-fee rules, or concessions — these are configured and controlled by the school itself.

5. School Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information when setting up the school's account
• Ensure it has the appropriate consent/authority to upload student and staff data to the Platform
• Keep staff and admin login credentials secure and not share them outside authorized personnel
• Use the Platform in compliance with applicable Indian laws, including those relating to data protection and education

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another school's data or account without authorization
• Upload malicious code, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Platform
• Use the AI Assistant to attempt to extract another student's or school's information

7. Data Ownership

All student, staff, and school data uploaded to the Platform remains the property of the school. EduNexus acts as a data processor on the school's behalf and does not claim ownership over school-uploaded data. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is handled.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Platform available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where practical. EduNexus is not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability of the Platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, EduNexus's liability for any claim arising from use of the Platform is limited to the subscription fees paid by the school in the three (3) months preceding the claim. EduNexus is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform for a school that breaches these Terms, fails to pay subscription fees, or misuses the Platform. A school may request export of its data before account closure, as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated to active schools.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh.
